My name is Vivian Bennett (Mr) and I am the driving instructor at Thames School of Motoring which I established in 1991.
I offer, without obligation, a 1.5 hour Introductory or Assessment lesson for only £24 ~ and the next 6 hours at only £20 an hour.
My normal tuition prices then apply which are listed on the right together with the DRIVING STANDARDS AGENCY driving test fees.
Driving Instructor Experience
Before starting Thames School of Motoring I worked for several driving schools in Oxford, both large and small. That is over 25 years of instructor experience which means I am one of the most experienced driving instructors in Oxford. I am professional, friendly and patient, very reliable and have a consistently high pass rate.
High Pass Rate ~ driving lessons oxford
Every year since 1991 the DSA has sent to Approved Driving Instructors their annual pass rate statistics. Last year the average pass rate was only 47% but in contrast mine was 72%. I am very happy to show students my DSA statistics going back to 1991 which, every year, has consistently been much higher than the driving instructors' average.

I give driving lessons in Oxford and the surrounding areas, picking students up from places of their choice. My tuition is friendly, patient, and on a one-to-one tailored basis, which helps students relax and enjoy their lessons. I teach people of all ages and over a wide range of levels. As well as normal hourly lessons my services include:
